STATEMENT FROM HAMPTON COURT MODEL RAILWAY SOCIETY

It is with regret that Hampton Court Model Railway Society must announce that the Tolworth Showtrain Model Railway Show scheduled to take place at Tolworth Recreation Centre on the weekend of the 14th and 15th November has been cancelled.

This decision has not been taken lightly but in view of recent developments in the Covid -19 pandemic and Government response we cannot plan with any certainty as to what restrictions, in particular those related to Social Distancing, will be in place in November.

We have therefore decided that rather than risk having to make significant changes, including possible cancellation at short notice, thus causing inconvenience to both exhibitors and intending visitors, it is better to cancel the show now.

Whilst we appreciate this news will be disappointing it does, at least, allow certainty.

Our 2021 show will be on 13th and 14th November 2021, and we look forward to welcoming you to that event.
